Financial Statement Analysis Simplified
Why this Site Exists
After 35 years of teaching and researching financial accounting, I see a clear gap: highly educated professionals need to understand financial statements, but don’t have the time or resources for an MBA or expensive courses.
Engineers evaluating their company’s ESOPs. Doctors choosing between investment options. Young professionals trying to pick stocks. Even fellow professors managing their retirement funds. Smart people in every field – but do they have time to learn financial analysis?
Business schools teach MBAs how to read annual reports and spot red flags in financial statements. But getting an MBA takes two years and lakhs of rupees. Financial webinars and courses cost thousands. And most free resources are either too simplistic (“investing for dummies”) or too technical (meant for CFOs).
There should be a better option.
This site fills that gap. I teach you the same rigorous financial analysis I teach my MBA students – explained clearly, using real company examples, at your own pace. And because I’m also a researcher in valuation and financial markets, I bring in the latest research findings on what actually works in financial analysis.
Financial literacy shouldn’t require an MBA. It shouldn’t cost thousands of rupees. It’s knowledge that can protect you from bad investments and help you spot good ones.
That’s why this site exists.
